47th Death Anniversary

Last February 06,2011 ;Officers and members of Mendez Nunez Lodge No.8 joined Grand Lodge Officers led by MW Cesar de Leon Go in commemorating the 47th Death Anniversary of our brother Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Shown in the picture is the wreath laying at the tomb in Aguinaldo shrine .

112th Republic Day

On January 23,2011 Republic Day was celebrated in Malolos City, Bulacan. A parade participated by Government officials, civic-military group, local government units by Bulacan, a program followed at the patio of the Barasoain Church.The celebration marked the anniversary of the official inaguration of the Philippine Republic after the promulgation of the Constitution by the Malolos Congress 112 years ago.

Led by our Worshipful Master, VW Bernard Marges, PGIG ;members of MNL#8 joined the parade carrying posters showing events in our history that transpired in the birth of our republic.

MWB Nicolas Ricafrente shared a very informative facts on our history that influenced the birth of the 1st Republic in Asia.

Another IGLPI Lodge in Northern Luzon

Brethren in Northern Luzon in the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Independent Grand Lodge of Free And Accepted Masons of the Philippine Islands is now undertaking the initial steps in the formation of a new masonic lodge in this region, specifically in Bulacan.

This will be the second lodge to be established in this part of the country and the first IGLPI lodge in the province of Bulacan , following the successful institution and constitution of Freedom Lodge # 10 in Pampanga.

The new lodge that will be under dispensation shall be named Barasoain.

Grand Lodge Officers,District 1 Officers and member lodges of the MW IGLPI ,participated in the annual parade of June 12 Independence Day celebration in Kawit,Cavite. After the parade and ceromonies a symposium on Independence Day ( From Malolos to Kawit) was held at the Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Lodge No. 5

IGLPI Community Project with the Aetas which was spearheaded by Freedom Lodge No. 10, together with the MWIGLPI and its member lodges, together with the Ladies of IGLPI, school bags,books,t-shirts,supplies were distributed to the pupils of Haduan Elementary School in Mabalacat,Pampanga

2010 IGLPI FAMILY DAY

Last April 24 and 25, 2010 the members and family of subordinate lodges in the jurisdiction of the MWIGLPI held the 2010 IGLPI family day in Nature Discovery Camp in Tagaytay City.It started with the unveiling of the ceremonial arch of Ilog Siloy,followed by lunch ala picnic in the camp,a mini sports fest followed, filipino traditional games were also played, dinner with live band ensued in the evening.Those who stayed for the night enjoyed the camping.
