AUGUST 24,2013 TREE PLANTING DAY @ ILOG SILOY
On Saturday August 24,2013 there will be a tree planting activity at Ilog Siloy in Barangay Carasuchi,Indang ,Cavite. This is an on-going project by Mendez Nunez Lodge No.8 in partnership with the MW Independent Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippine Islands.The Grand Lodge has given its commitment and support to save our environment by adopting this river .
RW Pol Toledo and WM Poncing Marges leads the project in coordination with Grand Lodge Officers. Activity will start at 8 am, breakfast and luch will be served.

A golf event was held last August 6,2013 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas,Cavite. The tournament was for the benefit of Kuya Boyet Doncilo's medical treatment.The following brothers sponsored the project:

Truly ,Brotherly Love , Relief and Truth prevailed when our fraternity extends the cable tow to a worthy brother,regardless of jurisdiction .Mabuhay po kayo.

Our Lodge lost two(2) stalwarts of the fraternity this year, VW Bernard Marges and VW Dominador Ramos. Kuya Bernard was Past Master of Indang Lodge No. 115 under the MW GLP and also a Past Master of Mendez Nunez No. 8 in the jurisdiction of the MW IGLPI, He was also Past Grand Inspector General , PGIG, IGLPI. Kuyang Bernard actively participated and was one of the pillars of IGLPI during its formative days. He was well versed in floor works,the ancient landmarks of Freemasonry, he was also a resource person of the IGLPI administrative code and other various activities of the blue lodge and Grand Lodge .Kuya Bernard is an agriculturist , a professor ,a holder of doctorate degree, a lecturer and a true blooded Mason.
Kuya Boy (or Ador) was Past Master of this lodge in the IGLPI ,he was raised in Owens Lodge in Virginia,USA where he served in the United Sates Navy, He composed the District March for the GLP , Cavite Masonic District ,GLP, with this accomplishment, he was awarded Outstanding Master Mason.
The IGLPI hymn was composed by Kuya Boy , it was sung during the constitution of the MW IGLPI last September 6,2006 in Kawit , Cavite. The hymn later on became the IGLPI march , which is being sung in every stated meeting of all lodges in the jurisdiction of the MW IGLPI and other functions of the Grand Lodge.Being an artist ,one of kuya boy's masterpiece can be found in one of the walls of Cavite State University in Indang, some can be found in the walls of our lodge.
Both Kuya Bernard and Kuya Boy loved to play golf, music and of course Freemasonry.
We will miss these Kuyangs , you will remain in our hearts and the pride you brought to a lodge will be forever be remember.

115th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, 12 June 2013
Grand Master Amorico Alvarez, Grand Line Officers and President Emilio
Aguinaldo Memorial Lodge No 5 led the parade of IGLPI member lodges in the
celebration of the 115th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine
Independence Day held at the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite.
Brethren of our Lodge led by WM Alfonso Marges joined this annual parade and celebration , this yearly event is well attended by brother Masons from our jurisdiction.
After event , the fellowship continued in the PEAML No. 5 masonic temple

113th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
June 12,2011 Kawit, Cavite
Grand Lodge Officers and member lodges of the Independent Grand Lodge of the Philippine Islands and the Ladies of IGLPI joined the celebration of the 112th Independence day parade and program at Kawit, Cavite ,Philippines . President Benigno Simeon Aquino III was the guest speaker .

5th Masonic District Convention
Hosted by Freedom Lodge No. 10 the Annual Masonic District No.1 Convention was held last May 21,2011 in Xevera Mabalacat in Pampanga.
Several proposals to amend the Uniform Code of by-laws were submitted to the Legislative and Executive council for further study.
Congratulations to VW Camilo Tabulinar , DGS and to the Officers of Masonic District No. 1 for a very fruitful and succesful convention.
